Ten Days Certificated Course covering a minimum of eighty hours fact to face tuition.
The NEBOSH Certificate level qualification provides a good foundation in health and safety for managers, supervisors and staff with health and safety among their day to day responsibilities.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate covers the main legal requirements for health and safety in the UK, identification and control of workplace hazards and the practical application of this knowledge.
The syllabus is mapped to the National Occupational Standards for Health and Safety owned by ENTO.
No previous health and safety knowledge is required but candidates should note the assessment includes a requirement to write a short report.

Course contentThe qualification is divided into three units, each of which is assessed separately: Management of Health and Safety (NGC1)
Controlling workplace hazards (NGC2)
Health and safety practical application (NGC3)
Unit NGC3 is assessed by a two-hour practical examination. This is held on a date set by the course provider and must be taken within 14 days of a written examination. Candidates will be awarded a unit certificate for each unit passed. Once a candidate has successfully completes all three units (NGC1, NGC2 and NGC3), the overall qualification parchment will be issued. |
