This course is designed for those individuals who are working in noisy environments or who have been identified as having a responsibility for workplace risk assessment. This course will provide a basic understanding of the principles of the noise assessment process and how to control noise.

• Explain the meaning of key terminology relating to noise
• Demonstrate how to correctly use a the sound level meter and how to noise map
• Explain the techniques to reduce and control noise
